Pixopixo Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Pixopixo collects, uses, shares, protects, retains, and deletes information when you use the Pixopixo mobile app, website, interactive player, creation tools, publishing features, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information, such as user ID, email address, phone number if provided, authentication provider identifiers, verification status, and session information.
  • Profile information, such as display name, username, avatar, gender, birthday, bio, profile settings, and language preferences.
  • Creative content, such as prompts, ideas, uploaded media, camera captures, source videos, generated assets, interactive HTML experiences, drafts, public works, comments or messages used in creation workflows, and related metadata.
  • Usage and engagement information, such as likes, favorites, follows, shares, notification status, content visibility settings, creation progress, model selections, and app events needed to operate the service.
  • Feedback and support information, such as feedback messages, child safety reports, contact email, app version, platform, device information, and support correspondence.
  • Device, log, and security information, such as device model, operating system version, app version, IP address, user agent, request timestamps, crash or error logs, and anti-abuse signals.
  • Permission-based information, such as camera, microphone, media library, motion, or storage access, only when you choose to grant those permissions for app features.

2. Sensor Data in Interactive Experiences

Some playable moments respond to your camera, microphone, or motion sensors — for example, blowing at the microphone, moving in front of the camera, or tilting your device.

On-device, real-time only. When you allow these features, camera frames, audio, and motion readings are processed on your device in real time solely to detect the interaction (such as sound level, movement, or tilt). This data is not recorded, not stored, and not transmitted to Pixopixo or to any third party. It is discarded from memory immediately after the interaction is evaluated.

No biometric identification. Pixopixo does not use these signals to identify you, does not create or store facial templates, faceprints, voiceprints, or other biometric identifiers, and does not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from biometric data. Because no biometric identifiers are collected or stored, there is nothing to retain; to the extent any jurisdiction treats transient in-memory processing as collection, our retention schedule is: such data is destroyed immediately upon completion of the interaction, and in no event later than the end of your playback session.

Your choice. Each sensor-based feature asks for your permission before first use, and every sensor-based moment can instead be played by holding the screen. You can withdraw permissions at any time in your device settings.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide, authenticate, operate, maintain, and personalize Pixopixo.
  • Process prompts and uploaded media, generate content, publish works, render interactive experiences, and deliver notifications about creation results.
  • Store drafts, preserve creation history, sync account data, and make public works available when you choose to publish them.
  • Respond to feedback, support requests, child safety reports, abuse reports, and legal requests.
  • Monitor safety, prevent fraud and abuse, debug errors, protect users, enforce our Terms, and improve service quality.
  • Analyze aggregate usage trends, maintain infrastructure, and develop new or improved features.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to provide and protect Pixopixo, comply with law, or with your direction. Pixopixo does not serve third-party targeted advertising and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • Service providers may process information for cloud hosting, object storage, content delivery, authentication, email, analytics, AI model processing, security, monitoring, and support.
  • AI model and media-processing providers may receive prompts, media, metadata, and generation instructions needed to produce or evaluate outputs.
  • Other users and public viewers may see content and profile information you choose to publish publicly.
  • Legal, safety, and compliance recipients may receive information when necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect rights and safety, or investigate abuse.
  • Business transaction recipients may receive information if Pixopixo is involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. Public Content

If you publish a work publicly, the work, preview media, generated experience, associated description or prompt, engagement counts, and selected profile details may be publicly accessible. Public content may be indexed, shared, or viewed outside the Pixopixo app.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

Pixopixo may use cookies, local storage, secure storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, protect sessions, operate the website, and improve reliability.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encrypted transport for network requests, access controls, session protection, request signing where supported, and operational monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Pixopixo, maintain your account and content, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and maintain backups. Retention periods vary by data type and operational need.

Drafts, generated works, uploads, and public content may remain until you delete them, make a deletion request, or the account is deleted, unless retention is required for safety, legal, or legitimate operational reasons.

9. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account directly in the app (Settings → Delete account) or request deletion by contacting pixoai@pixopixo.com from the email linked to your account, or through our website. Deleting your account first deactivates it for 30 days; signing back in during this window restores the account. After 30 days, deletion becomes permanent.

Your request should include the account email, user ID if available, and whether you want account deletion, specific content deletion, or both. We may ask for verification before acting on a request.

After verification, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account unless we need to retain limited information for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or backup integrity purposes. Public content you created may be removed from public areas unless retention is required by law or safety obligations.

10. Your Choices and Rights

  • You can update profile information in the app where supported.
  • You can control camera, microphone, media library, motion, and storage permissions through your device settings.
  • You can choose whether to publish works publicly or keep them private when the feature is available.
  • Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information. Contact pixoai@pixopixo.com to exercise those rights.

United States state privacy rights. Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. Pixopixo does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may exercise your rights, including through an authorized agent, by contacting pixoai@pixopixo.com; we will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.

EEA and UK. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal information on the legal bases of contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation, and you may additionally lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

11. Children and Child Safety

Pixopixo is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Pixopixo, contact pixoai@pixopixo.com.

Reports involving child safety, child sexual abuse material, exploitation, grooming, or related concerns should be sent to pixoai@pixopixo.com.

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and child exploitation. We use a combination of automated detection and human review, remove violating content, terminate related accounts, preserve evidence as required, and report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant authorities as required by law.

12. International Processing

Pixopixo and its service providers may process information in countries or regions other than where you live. We use safeguards designed to protect information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice as appropriate.
